WHAT IS A DITTO? Ditto (“the other fanzine convention”) began in Toronto in 1988 as a one-shot convention, a chance for those fans who were unable to attend Corflu to spend a weekend with like-minded fans. It was such a success that it became a repeating event held in the fall of each year. As the flyer for Ditto 11 put it,” Ditto strives to be as affordable as possible while finding interesting sites which promote conversation and fun.” Of course, Ditto has been on-line in one form or another almost from the beginning. For those who are interested in the history of Ditto, we recommend the “Web of the Ditto” web site: http://www.circlenk.com/ditto/
FANZINES: Fanzines will be available for free, sale and auction. Please bring any fanzines you wish to present to others, wish to sell or wish to trade. Repro equipment will be available as described in a future flyer.
